TOTAL SCAM FRAUD, telling me 2 transactions were made on my visa mastercard account (which I do not have) for £700 and £900 and to press 1 after the tone. I checked my actual bank accounts and are all OK.

Had a call from a male from this number yesterday asking about my Covid vaccination status and what life insurance I had. I told him that I was not willing to disclose this information to him and he got quite annoyed so I put the phone down. Have had another call from the same number this morning about debt management from what sounded like the same person but he used a different name. I told him I wasn't interested and stopped the call. Claimed to be from Council Housing Association calling about reported repairs needed to my property. I was confused and asked what he meant as I am not in a council house. The voice on the other end repeated themselves, I told them again I am not in a council property and an automated AI thanked me for my time and hung up.
Scam - Caller said that they were from Microsoft and, over the last four days, they have received notification that hackers etc had got access to my computer. If I turned on my computer they would be able to clear them from it. When I said it was a scam, I was told that if I did not let them remove the hackers, Microsoft would have to stop any computer from being able to work from my address in the future.

This is a well known scam, they ask for the passcode, then use the passcode to enter your account, lock you out, order new handsets etc. and leave you with the £1,500 bill for a new iPhone.
