AO Insurance scam. It seems AO haven t heard of GDPR. Almost feel like cancelling my order for such underhanded pretence after care call when in fact its all about selling the consumer a nonsensical insurances. Clearly under Data Protection Act and GDPR, AO is breaking privacy regulations.

Got a random text from it reading "Snapchat [code] passcode for phone enrolment Never share it" If it's a phishing scam it's a bit weak, I'm not even sure where I need to enter the code to get scammed (I'm guessing it's a hyperlink) Anyhow I know it's not legit because I don't even use Snapchat

SCAM: A recorded message gets played and purports to be the National Crime Centre and suggest that accounts have been frozen.
Just got call from this person spoke with english accent asked about car I was selling on gumtree only posted seconds before phone call then asked about accidents and I hung up had two calls this week off same number one before got straight to the point asking about an accident i had. I ve never had one in my life I challenged him and he hung up. My guess there getting numbers off gumtree ads for cars. Number now blocked.

My vulnerable relative ordered windows from Norfolk Windows Ltd, and was happy with service. Then they kept ringing back trying to get another order, despite being asked not to several times. Reported to information commissioner.
The caller tried to tell me they were holding a parcel but couldn't give me any detail about the sender or content. I'm pretty sure it was an attempt at fraud. Beware.

Today it's 01202137087 - yet another call purporting to be from the Bournemouth area but it could be India or Japan! I have no idea what the caller would have had to say because I never pick up these calls and they never leave a message. Phoned me, asking if I was Darren Cambridge of Brotherton Avenue in Wakefield. They become very aggressive when I asked them where they got my number and then I hung up! I was shaking after the way they spoke to me.
