I got called by this number earlier today. In my case even though it was unsolicited, it was a welcomed call from Carphone Warehouse. I had an issue with their website and the resolved it for me.
I received after I donated to "sense", a call from this number. The first time I did not go off. On subsequent calls, was always in the mood, which is very strange.

SCAM Had a call from this number 8.45 Saturday morning. Started off saying calling from Virgin media and that my broadband connection was not working properly a d she was going to boost it. Then she tried the old scam of getting me to log on to my laptop or computer and pressing CTRL and windows keys. This number called saying it was Amazon prime and asked us to follow up the call about our prime subscription very very possibly a scam so never followed up .

Claimed to be Carphone Warehouse. I have not dealt with them for over 10 years so either it is a lie or CW are in serious breach of GDPR/DPA obligations.

Asian sounding guy, rabbiting at speed about who I was and telling me my details, barely caught a word, then says BT will call to save me money on my Telephone and Broadband, then hung up immediately, never asked was I interested in any possible savings, not even the basic pleasantries of asking how I was etc... Just quick fire rabbit rabbit rabbit, BT will call me, click, all I can say is, if this was anything to do with BT, they are now less likely to be getting my business than they were before.
