Scam text message received from other number asking me to WhatsApp this number.
Whatsapp message accidentally sent from.a young lady who pretty much fell in love with me within a few messages despite the 38 year age difference - she asked me to.contact her on her private number which appears to be a UK mobile but is actually a landline to Russia - I guessed fairly quickly that it was a scam ...SCAM
Left no message 2. Rings then stopped.

This is the number is for https://www.popingraphics.com/ one of the leading vehicle wrapping companies in the UK, based in Cardiff. To date we have a flawless 5.0 score based on 57 Google Reviews. If we called, it was likely a call back or to discuss an ongoing project!

I'm guessing spam - didn't let them get far to find out as I kept quizzing them about who they were and never confirming who they are supposed to be talking to. Said they were from a company called something like brnza (couldn't quite understand the accent) saying they want to email me something on behalf of Dell and they read out an email address they wanted me to confirm (which of course I wouldn't). I basically said this call is unauthorised, I refuse you to email me anything and do not call me again.

They are scammers pretending to be Virgin media. They claim that your internet box has been compromised because of suspect malware and then pretend that they want to compensate you by putting money into your bank account, but really they try and take money out of your account. They are Asians and the number emanates from Orpington Kent.

SCAM As soon as I answered a recorded message started that two withdrawls had been made from a bank account. No name of bank, name of holder, card number etc etc. This is a scam and is the same recording as several other calls I have received.

When they ring , they always get me out of bed, when i look at the number on the phone screen its very close to my area number so i answer , then there's a delay while it clicks and connects to a different part of the world and then a foreign sounding lady always mis- says my name with a long eee at the beginning and there is an office noise back ground . recorded message saying my card had been used today for suspicious payments of £300 and £1350 today. Then asked me to press 1to cancel payments and a couple of other options. I terminated the call. Obviously a fraud/scam as no indication of which card was involved.
