Asian telephoned my aging mother in law nearly every week about some sort of consumer survey. Would not identify himself or his company, admitted to calling from S.E.Asia. ignores telephone preference registration (as do most cold callers) - querying where I shop and what for and how recently purchased electrical goods.

Pakistani/Indian voice, broken English, advising that he was calling on behalf of an investigation company calling regarding outstanding credit card charges. Hung up when challenged.

Got a call today from this number. The guy didn t introduce himself but said he was from Google marketing and wanted £180 to put my page on a first page search. (I do this myself already). I said I could do what he was offering for next to nothing and at that point the caller got aggressive, I hung up him. He s obviously a chancer trying to scam people out of money. Yet another sad fool giving Manchester a bad name. I will be reporting him to Google.

I just bought a washing machine from boots online and in less than an hour got a call on both my landline and mobile. I was having my hair cut at the time of the calls so I did not answer.
