THIS was an automated call supposedly from visa debit department. As I do not accept normally get calls directly from visa I assume this was either a spam or scam call and put the phone down

Caller asked me if I remember the car accident I’d had? Well, unless I’m concussed and / or lost my memory as a result of it … then no, I can’t remember it due to not actually having an accident. An Asian (oriental) sounding voice speaking barely understandable pigeon English. Some nonsense about the care/warranty package for my tv, cooker and washing machine. Asked for company name and gave me two different names. Then when he asked for the year I was born, I told him 1900 and he hung up. The bloke on the other end was really thick and gullible and I hope his wife leaves him and his mother sleeps with his best friend

SCAM call from a company Estate Plan (not to be confused with legitimate company Estate Planning) about care home fees and if I own my own home. I simply put phone down and blocked number. Guy was very well spoken, good English but came across as very forceful/aggressive. Beware of engaging in any conversation.
