I answered the call & was asked if he can speak to Mr. Davis. I said "You have the wrong number as there is no one living here of that name". Spam. Was an automated message with threat that my internet is going to be disconnected. I have a BT line, so I put the phone down on it and then picked it up and waited for dial tone and then dialled 1572, which allowed me to block the last calling number. Not sure if that blocking facility works on other providers landlines. But worth a try. It's a neat facility.
SCAM said they were from BT and that people were accessing my internet. When I told her to stop telling me nonsense as I was an expert in IT she told me to stop lying! I then asked if she had called me a lie and the line went dead.

SCAM - "NC Power" claiming to be our provider (Gazprom) trying to confirm information as next month's billing will be wrong. Same woman called last month from a different number (029 218 2591) asking the exact same thing for the previous month's billing. Pointed out that I'd personally called Gazprom about something else (in the last two days!) and mentioned these calls and that our accounts are actually fine and she hung up?!
