They are based on wharf industrial estate in bury, Manchester and Blackburn. I think this was a fraud check call from Bank of Scotland that I answered and was then transferred to the customer service dept which wasn t answered promptly. I hung up, but this resulted in a 27p charge for me. Not a lot, but a good scam if you manage it for a lot of people!

Almost certainly a scammer. These calls use spoofed numbers and originate outside the UK. The scammers can spoof any number they want. Block the number if you have the facility.
