This was a missed call, so I called it back but just got the BT message "you've dialled an incorrect number" so it appears that at today's date, the number is not actually allocated and falsely used to hide the real number - Not sure how they do this and when are BT/Openreach going to stop this happening and clean up their system - the number displayed should be the actual number being used, ok, number blocking is another matter but should only be reserved for private numbers, going to gue

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases free boiler replacement scam). I recommend to block the whole 84305006xx range... I ve had this company leave many messages to 3 different women s names on my answer machine! I live in 1 bed flat...don t know where they are supposed to be hiding! Purposefully keep home phone on answer machine to avoid constant nuisance calls and mobile is on call block (except family) for the same reason! Work shifts and sick of random wrong numbers....nuisances but I win!

This is a scam. Pretend to be Eon, and I actually paid them money. Unfortunately Eon have confirmed that this was not them. My banks Fraud Department got the money back for me though.
