Unknown number calling a TPS registered private number. It is one digit different from 01226666737, Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd calling with a driveway scam that has been pestering my home number recently and may be the same. Someone from this number called me tonight - why do they think it s acceptable to call at meal times? or any time when I have not asked them to. I have done 1471 before and found they have tried to call me. TPS cannot seem to block them out. Do they not understand that most people do not trust them and do not want to speak to them?!!

Spoke to an asian woman who knew name, address and postcode and asked if I was in the 25 to 35 age group cause I sounded young! Couldn t really understand much else.
Just received a call from 08434100078. It waited for me to speak then told me to press 5 for refund. I stayed silent and it cut off after 20 seconds.

Really annoying silent phone call to my mobile. If someone has misdialed then at least apologise and then hang up, don’t leave it open for 5-8 seconds on a silent call then cut it off. Not even a mobile number which they usually are.

Said he ll call back in one month when power of attorney should be completed !! This number has now been blocked on my phone. I won t get involved with unsolicited phone calls.
