This number is no longer J A Winward and Sons - Scientific Glassware. My dad was one of the "sons", (J A Winward was my grandad)... I don't know who is using the phone number now, but the premises is now an art studio called Red Door and they might still have the same phone number?

Very noisy background. Claimed to be from EE. Could not answer any of my questions to prove she was calling from EE and hung up when challenged. Probably a scam.
The pains of being ripped off by these heartless scammers who pose as binary investment company , mine started with a female investor who I became close friends with in a few months after we started chatting , she was nice and the sweetest person to talk to , she talked me into investing she sweet talked me into trusting her and the said company and investing a wholesome amount into this company .By the time It dawned on me that all this was a trick and a scheme to get in my pocket I already lost over $500
I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. They claim to be e-on which is fake because their number isn't on e-ons website + they wouldn't be calling everyday. The message claims to be a delivery driver from Evri saying that my parcel was unable to be delivered. In the message there was a HTML link. Needless to say I didn't follow it up. Seems sketchy.

I had a call. It was someone from my local paper trying to get me back after I cancelled.
This number called me on 28.04.23. Supposedly, a message from my bank to inform that my debit card had been used for suspicious purchases. To cancel the 2 transactions and speak to an agent press 1, which I did. A woman with a very strong foreign accent requested my name, date of birth and address in order to make the cancellation. She then asked for my card sort code, which rang alarm bells. I told her that if she was calling from my bank she should already know that and I would ring them. She hung up.
We have 2 phones sending 2051 sms. Both are Nokia C21 plus and appear to have been hacked or have malware in stock ROM. Other owners of this phone are reporting the same problem. Caller stated they were from virgin media and there was corruption on my router, they stated they would disconnect my internet due to the corruption if i didnt let them help me fix it. I have since called virgin media who confirms they have not called me

call from this number Monday 6th March at 13.50 when an automated voice said I was about to spend £700 + on an Amazon order and that they had halted the transaction pending my pressing button 1. I smelt a rat and hung up then Googled the number to find this site. I'm confident it was a hoax.

They were indian, male and middle aged, they identified themselves as John Martin. I am ex-directory and my phone is registered with the telephone preference service to block sales calls and unwanted calls.
Scam email extensively linked to this number saying you have been billed for norton type product (that supplies "anti-protection" :-D) that you need to phone the number urgently to cancel! Dont waste your time.

Automated message saying Amazon Prime membership has ended and you can reactivate by calling and paying £25. I don't have Amazon prime so this is a fraudulent caller.
