Just got a call from this number. Why?

I had a call on my phone after activating my SIM which had been dormant for 12 months with Orange/EE They did not leave a message. Strange they got my number 24hrs after reactivating SIM!!!

Called me 39 times even on hoilday in Spain never answer blocked

Company called to say I needed to renew the insurance for my sky equipment but I don t have sky, I think this is probably some sort of scam.

3rd call in 3 days. Next time I might just say 'Please wait a moment....' and see how long they stay there.

got a text from +447449206651 saying "ATTENTION! We have tried to contact you, It is important we speak to you today. Please call 08445718145 quoting your reference [x], Thank You." Anyone know who this is?

Well, after a couple of days of peace and quiet from this number.. they ve started again, with a VENGEANCE! I have reported them to EVERYONE they can be reported too, and now, im on plan B! FYI if you re on "talktalk" you can set up "last caller barring" which allows you to block up to 10 numbers from ringing you :) and its FREE!! im in the process of setting this up now, and hopefully it will stop all this nonsense! Anonymous, that is probably because this no. is a VGPN supposedly from Birmingham but could actually be from anywhere in the world. These nos. are often used by 'companies&...

Who is this? Unknown number and 90 seconds of silence on voicemail. Three times in three weeks.

Been getting calls from this number over last few days so called them back. First a woman answered, seemed like it was the last thing she wanted to do and told me the line was bad so she would call me back. No call back so I called again. A man called Joshua stated he was from Lotto Social and would like to offer me 5 free Euro Millions lines for tomorrow night (24/04/2015). I told him it wasn t something that would interest me but thanks for calling and could he make sure I don t get anymore calls. He said

Had calls everyday from this number, didn t answer because I was at work. when I did answer they hung up!

As with most other comments, single ring then hung up. Did not call back. Weird thing was, this call came in on my company mobile, the number for which is only given out to colleagues and a few family members. I ve never used it to sign up for anything so no idea how they got it. Assume auto dialler?

Still not sure who called, rang it back as expecting contact with Brentford County Court, the call was answered by answer machine that said "Trying to connect you" then some music and then the line went silent so I cut the call when that happened and still no answer. Seems dodgy now but will see if they ring back.
