SCAM Stupid text message saying “Hi mum, call me on my new number - insert phone number- I’m sending you a message from my friend’s phone because I broke mine..their battery is running out” What it is about the fact that the friends battery is running out when the “child” has sent you a new number to call would add to the sense of urgency I have no idea. Stupid thick idiot criminals. This is a seemingly genuine number that has been taken over by scammers. Watch out. SCAM

Then they ask you to check your bank account and lo and behold someone has taken money from your account. In the next few minutes they show you that you have been credited with a large amount of money. This is to say thank you for helping them track scammers. *****Suspected SCAM**** Someone saying they were from Marston Recovery (High Court Enforcement) regarding unpaid council tax. I don't owe council tax. They became rude when I told them I would not give any information and did not owe any money. I called the local council and confirmed there is no enforcement on my property or any previous property I have lived in. *****Suspected SCAM*****

claimed to be from the bank informing me there were 2 transactions made on my card and to press 1 to confirm. I obviously didn't !!

Some phisher phoning from EE about my internet/mobile. May have been from anywhere on the planet based on the Interference on call, Nigeria Jambo Jambo Advised I have a Business Mobile not on an EE Contract. Scam - make sure you waste their time

FraudFemale recorded voice with American accent (very amateurish) saying they were HMRC and that I had been reported for tax evasion. The case has been reported to the police and would be brought before a magistrate. "Press 1 to speak to a HMRC agent", Obviously I didn't. This country has some of the most advanced telecomms technology in the world. WHY can't the authoriries (Police, BT, the Regulator) take down these numbers?

Claimed to be from Amazon security and wax saying someone was try to spend £700 on my account and asked for my banking info. Immediately very suspicious as sure Amazon would not do this.

This is a scam number, they pretend to be from Carphone Warehouse. As soon as I mentioned I don’t need anything, he ended the call. It was from a noisy Indian call centre. I blocked the number and added it here.

I didn't answer to this call, because my phone showed me that is a potential fraud, so I blocked it right away!

Amazon Prime renewal scam.

I have a Sky and 02 contract, different phones. I had a call from this number purporting to be 02 on my Sky phone; took me a while to realise! Offered me a 45% discount on my bill for 2 years with no catches??? Spoke in an Indian accent, very fast, so not easy to understand. Asked for my full name, which I queried as he was supposed to have my account records. However, not giving anything away, I did so but he misspelled everything.
