Call center maybe. Rings two to four times a every day even on Sunday for a number of months. Today three phone calls from whoever and it's 13:11, so I suspect there will be more today as this phone number rings me in the afternoon and evening too, even 9pm.

I have asked them three times to delete my contact details under the GDPR "right to be forgotten" and they simply get abusive. Message arrived over WhatsApp - I guess it's now the platform of choice for scammers, as bulk SMS costs money? Suspicious "hi, hope you are doing well" received, and nothing else. I'd suggest do not reply, not even to ask "who is this?", as it's likely a scam. If it was somebody I knew, I'd expect them to use my name and/or identify themselves if they can see we haven't communicated before.
SCAM - some debt advise when i told him to remove my number as i hadnt authorised him having it and GDPR he turned very rude.

Asked for a "Mr. Raymond"; when informed he had the wrong number, he requested my name to add to their caller registry. I declined, and he tried to tell me something about investing. I ended the call early by saying I had stuff to do. Overall the guy on the other end was very respectful and polite, and had a very mild Indian accent, so I think he might've been legit. Of note, however, is that my number is a Canadian number.
