Fraud: This was a text received stating someone was trying to change recipient details on an HSBC account and they wanted me to confirm details and authenticity. However, I have not had an HSBC account for more than 4 years. Please report the number to your phone carrier and apply the normal block and spam filter to the number. I have four calls this morning 2 numbers I did not managed to log, the third was a private number. This one I logged. Each call is telling me they are calling me from Sky, none are native English speakers, telling me I have a problems with my internet connection, which I do not, being an IT consultant I think I am in a good position to know. When I tell them my credentials they hang up. Going to speak to sky and pass all the information on. First caller did ask if I could hear him.
No message left now blocked.

SCAM / SPAM Called once, immediately hangs up in the hope people will call back. Blocked loads of these numbers already. Once you get a call like this from one scammy nob-head company, they keep calling with new numbers in the hope that you react and call them back. Don't answer, Don't call back. Its usually a premuim rate scam that either has some kind of fax machine tone, or someone claiming to be someone they're not trying to keep you on the line for as long as possible whilst running up your phone bill

SPAM call. Keep getting them from same number but with different last 2 digits. Loft insulation, double glazing, etc etc n slam phone down when you ask them to stop calling, then they ring again straight away!!!

Called by lady claiming she was from BT. Wanted me to reset my I/p address. Claimed someone was trying to log onto my network. Was willing to talk me through settings. Said I knew how to do it. She hung up
Have phoned me at least 10 times in the last 4 days on my mobile. A real nuisance, I have now blocked the number but they still don t give up.
