Cold callling. Strong Asian accent. Some kind of financial company pretending they ve legitimately obtained my number. I wasn t pleasant.

Spoke to an asian woman who knew name, address and postcode and asked if I was in the 25 to 35 age group cause I sounded young! Couldn t really understand much else.

Settled accident claim (9 months ago, not my fault, no physical injury sustained by me) and eventually accepted small payout after being hounded by solicitors. I imagine they are just random calling after accessing insurance claim/accident data from an unethical source!! Had 3 calls on same day from different unknown / nuisance numbers! Stinks!

Caller asked for someone else who lives in the house by name - after teh ususal telemarketing pause of silence..... When I explained they were not in and asked if I could take a message, the caller sounded annoyed that the person he called for was not in, and then HE HUNG UP. . Cold caller? Telemarketer? Rude - yes!

This is different from CRUK (Cancer Research UK). Its Worldwide Cancer Research and they want donations. They keep calling once or a few times a day sometimes.

When I try to answer it rings off straight away. I have blocked number on my phone yet the calls are still coming through

This number has been spoofed so that it appears as the CLI of the caller when it has no relationship to the people originating the call. This number was assigned to a legitimate business in Surrey. They have now changed their number. The spoofing still carries on and people are getting missed call messages with this number on their mobiles and landlines. Number of calls - emailed the contact details as above and requested to be removed from the database - lets see what happens!

Claimed to be from Coventry, offering to help with a serious problem on my computer. I asked him what sort of computer he thought I had. He cleverly said he didn t know and would not ever access my computer because that would be illegal. I pretended to play along for a bit, until he got annoyed with my frivolous answers to questions and hung up. Definitely a fraudster.
