Unsolicited call from a person alleging to be from a law firm, calling about a no-fault accident. He rang off when I asked for details.

Called me and then the usual number of 0161 850 1033 came up, so they must be connected. Hard sell company trying to make out a windfall amount of cash from a non-fault accident is yours and is simply dying to drop in to your lap. Avoid.

Friendly voice (conning voice) asked me by name, then proceeded to say "I m calling about the car accident you recently had" - when I asked "what accident?" - she hung up.

Someone with an English voice called from a government agency (supposedly) to say we may be in the wrong council tax band. They ended the call when they had the wrong address.

Ugh, I m so tired of callers bothering me! They keep calling and never leave a message. I didn t think too much of it, since a lot of my friends never leave a message, too and rather decided to phone again later. So perhaps this is just what some people do. However, when I answered a call a few days later, there was no answer, just silence for half a minute and then I hung up.
