Claiming to be Amazon - They claimed to be Amazon and my account had suspicious activity. When I asked for the head office number he asked me why I needed it, I told them if they were a representative of the company he would not hesitate to give me the head office number he the said he would give me it to get a pen and paper handy then the line went dead.

SCAM. They text saying Hi mum I dropped my phone 3 days in a row!

Called me saying they are the Carphone Warehouse and were trying to get me to buy laptops, phones and tablets. The line was pretty rubbish so I'm not sure if this was a scam as I'm sure the Carphone Warehouse don't just randomly call up numbers.

020704859199 called 5 May 23 at 14:40hrs, recorded message.... along the lines... "Two debits to your ???? account, one £300 from Amazon, the other from an overseas authority... both look suspicious, press 1 to approve payment, or 2 to talk to us". Caller did not identify who was calling

Fraud SCAM Fraud Claimed to be from Vodaphone, said that an attempt to change my account number had been flagged up, called my number to verify with an old address (first flag) Second flag was when I asked if I could have a verification email I received a what amounted to a "yes but hurry up and give me the number" And of course, when I received a recovery/account change text, the first words of said text were DO NOT TELL ANYONE THIS NUMBER, POLICE OR VODAPHONE EMPLOYEES INCLUDED. Call to my landline 0914 on Tuesday 16 May 23 Caller asked for me by name and started a long spiel about British Gas Homecare Once I could get a word in I told her I was not interested This was followed up about 30 mins later by a call from 01183150367 with a recorded message asking for a feedback rating I have reported this separately
