A lady with a very strong (Chinese?) accent asked me to take part in a poll stressing that the calls will be recorded. She had my correct address details and was asking questions such as "do you have any following type of loans" or any "following type of investments" or if I was interested in taking on a life insurance or a funeral insurance plan and some general question of demographics. She didn t ask what bank I was with or my level of income, or any other things I would have considered dodgy. In the

Today I have received a call from the same number on my mobile, which is a consecutive number to the OH s mobile number. TAXES / HMRC Call received letting me know that my National Insurance number had been compromised. Claiming to be from National Crime Agency. I have had a number of these calls from 07932 430057, then 07932 430068. I'm sure if you press 1 to be connected to someone you will be paying a fortune for the call. Just block it. If HMRC or the NCA want to get hold of you they won't be doing it with a random mobile number!!
