Calls to a missed call and leaves a voice mail to say yr bank card need to approve certain outrageous ridiculous transactions...

Call came in as "Washington Call" no one on the line when I answered. Getting a lot of these calls from various numbers. I block them all.

Got a call from a "With-held" number, then minutes later got a call from the same company on this number saying "You have been selected to receive a discount..." I didn t let them get any further. These types of sales tactics are the lowest of the low methods of marketing and sales especially as my telephone number is registered with telephone preference!

Have received calls from 01273 915462/915463 for the last 2 nights (June 16 & 17). Phone rings every 15 mins for 90 minutes (ie, 6 calls). No messages, just a hang up. A nu...

I used to donate, but was made redundant so cancelled. I have told them this but I get phone calls every few months. It s annoying because the money they waste on spamming everyone could be better used I m sure.

Tries a scam on your phone number. When I blocked the number, started pestering me on face time. I am registered on TPS, never opt in etc. Couple of weeks ago upgraded with Vodafone and then these scam calls all start up again. Ofcom should tackle the source.

Supposedly HMRC need to speak to me or my lawyer as a matter of urgency or I will ?face the legal consequences?. I need to call a hotline back blah blah. Disgusts me that there are these dodgy scam artists out there trying to take advantage of people. They need shooting!!

I think this organisation is trying to get people to sign up to let them pursue PPI claims and the like. They hung up when I asked them for their number so that I could pursue a claim with the TPS. 1471 came in handy.

Checked number elsewhere as no comments here. Some say British gas (number on their website) re smart meters, some say call disconnected if you ask questions, some say messages received like from aliens...? I don t know but would like to bar these calls. Going for 5 as not sure what it really is!

Had a call from this mobile number saying he was calling from Claim Easy about my PPI claim, that I m sure I didn t raise. When I called him out on the mobile number he said goodbye and hung up.

Other practices at Link Financial Outsourcing Ltd which need looking at is their contempt for the Data Protection Act. When Link contact you they might ask you to give them a reference number which they have previously left on your answering machine. The fact that anyone with access to your phone also has this information invalidates it as a security question. Other security questions might be to ask you for your date of birth.
