Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! Got a called from 07306 851136 about making money, man with a foreign accent. Would not let me get a word in, when I was being polite, so I asked if he knew what shut up meant. As I wanted to know who they was calling from. After saying shut up multi times, to ask a question, he hung up.
It's a complete fraud.

SCAM This number was the first of three (others were 0208 888 7676 and 01782 254545) which I received on 17th and 18th July 2023, telling me I had security problems with users accessing my computer files. States from curry’s yet was a call centre with foreign speaking people. Don’t believe it was. Not from the village the number is recognised from.

Fraud this number keeps texting me saying it is my "eldest" and they have lost their phone and need me to pay for this new phone. However, when I ask them their name, they just say "eldest". I dont actually have children, so this must be a fraud act.

The number rang me but when answered did not respond at all and went quiet , suspicious.
This Phone number is a scam caller claiming I owe set to my bank stupid thing I don’t even have a bank card to use.
SCAM Automated message which said they were from the bank, without saying which bank. We had supposedly made a payment to Amazon and a bank transfer. This is the second call. First call was from 004919126946 with exactly the Automated message.
SPAM called me 8 times in last 24 hours. Never leaves a message.

It seems as though this could be a nuisance caller. My husband and I have both had calls from this number today, on our mobiles, while on holiday in France. It's slightly worrying, as we have many friends and relatives in the Manchester area. Our phones silence any unknown numbers but as no voicemail messages were left we are assuming the calls weren't important.
