Two unsolicited calls today. I asked who was calling as she was trying to confirm my name and status. Woman said she was ringing about government energy subsidy. When I asked again what company it was she said Just Glass. I Have seen this name mentioned adversely in other reviews. Told her this and hung up.
Fraud - Robo message saying "This is 'bank' security, we have detected an unuthorised transfer..." Its a definate scam! What bank? If a transfer was "Unauthorised", then it should have been declined by the issuing bank, if not, the 'bank' would be liable! Reporting these calls to Actionfraud is a waste of time - nothing happens and it is a difficult process. It is about time this matter became an election issue! This number keeps ringing me - my boyfriend answered it once (after many calls i refused to answer) and it was a man asking for another womans name. my boyfriend said he had the wrong number and it was left at that. However i have since had more calls from this number. I am very reluctant to answer it and i wish it would stop calling!

Scam call ! Recorded message supposedly from Ofcom but but in reality it is from Indian scammers try to con you out of money.
claimed to be from my internet provider-asked me to confirm router was working ok as had received large volume of calls. When I advised I was not at home(despite the fact they had called my landline) heard whispered conversation with a workmate/supervisor,asked to perform the same check on router again I repeated that I was not at home.
