I was called by this number 09:34 on 03 July 2023. It was an autodialer with an American accent telling me I had returned an HMRC envelope and now further action would be taken if..... This is a 100% scam by people that are stealing FCA Registered IDs from the FCA and then using those to pose as genuine FCA registered professionals to get you to open a Crypto Wallet - they will say there is a problem setting up the Crypto wallet and will need access to your laptop to resolve - DO NOT TALK TO THEM !

Think it’s a scammer on FB, has hacked into an account on there and pretending to be a widower living in Bedford. The phone is being used in the Preston area. I have blocked before he tries to extract money from me. He will not send current face photo with today’s date in his hand so I know it is a scammer. The FB profile hacked looks very American not Uk.
