Called landline twice on 28 June 2017. No voicemail left. Got No. from 1471. Returned call only to receive a voicemail stating its a call from my local Lloyds Branch and that they will call again. I am waiting for this call again (IF it comes) and hope to play the caller for what it is worth. Will also let the Police know but not sure they will be willing to do much though they have the number. Perhaps they could establish WHO has issued this number to whom and take it from there. Update for my entry 19/04/17. Call from this number received after placing ad on Gumtree to sell a car. Caller spoke with South Asian accent, claiming to represent, MTA Solicitors regarding a Road Traffic Collision. I contacted MTA Solicitors directly. They do not make or condone cold calls whatsoever. Any cold call received where the caller purports to be from or acting on behalf of MTA Solicitors, should be treated as fraudulent.

This line should belong to some company, but no remark on internet about it. Haven't found any info for this one, people does anyone have some experience with this number? Be aware if this number calls, it is for a shared costs, so better not to call back. Have checked also different formats of this number, but no luck. I had 2 calls from this number supposed to be from BT tech. First from an male at 9am then a female at 9:30 both from 02833610015 I did not give them any information and just hung up. I get a fair few of these calls. The next one will be a "will you take part in a survey" so they can find out who your service provider is, then pretend to be them.

Had a call today from a guy with a foreign accent stating he was George Wilson say he was ringing from BT as they had noticed I was having trouble with my internet speed. I could tell this was a scam so I told him to go and do one.
Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 16181490xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with some wide-scope telemarketing call centre, reported with PPI, insuarance marketing, loans/debts, energy schemes. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?
