This is a scam caller pretending to be from a Lyca phone provider offering cheap contracts, the company they are pretending to be are Mobiles.co.uk. They tried offering me a £35 contact for 24 months for a Samsung S23 ultra, which was too good to be true worked out at (£840.00). Fraud call came in from the number 07951 799 817 they spoke with an Indian accent and claimed to be calling from Microsoft Service. We had been hacked, and it was our duty to Microsoft to allow them access to our PC. When we told them that what poof did we have that we'd been hacked, they got very aggressive and said that it was done to us if we didn't believe them and that it would on our own heads if we lost our money as a result of being hacked. So we put the phone down on them.

Number called saying they were from the security department of my bank. No bank name was given. apparently there were two transactions going through on my card, one for Amazon and another larger sum was an international money transfer. I was invited to press 1 to cancel the transactions or 2 to confirm. Naturally I did neither.

Number on my display was 01473 727895. Said they were from the Call Blocking Service, and were able to upgrade my service. I don't think they were I got bad vibes from it. I hung up. I think it may be a scam call.

It seems the criminals, who obtained personal information as a result of leaked information from Talk Talk, are telling people their broadband service is likely to be closed down after 24 hours. It is rubbish. I did not answer the call, and got my information from other sites.
