That happened to me as well don't call the number back again it because it will charge you £10 each time x

I was caught out by this today. They claimed to be calling from O2. Luckily, I realised after the call ended and was able to change my account details before any damage was done. The scammers knew all of my details - full name, address, email address, how much I'm billed each month - even my security question. They were very convincing. Got a text saying it was EE and bill had not gone through. It says click the link to update your billing info. I called the real EE and they said it’s a scam don’t click on the link at all
Voice message saying my Amazon Prime had expired (I do not have Amazon Prime) and a payment for £95 was being taken, press either 1 or 2 for different reasons (can't remember what they were). I think this is a scam!
Called me saying they had information I had been in a car accident. I asked who had informed them and she disregarded my question to ask her own. I then stated that if she couldn t answer the question then we couldn t speak further, so she hung up. I hope she sleeps well at night knowing that her entire platform of employment is based upon being a nuisance.
