I had a call from this number and was instantly suspicious. I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. Like most people, I am suspicious of individuals whose language skills are a lot less than mine and have a heavy accent. This is Maidstone Police Station. Ignore people who say it s not. I went into the police station to report a motorist for smashing into my car and leaving the scene, spent an hour with a detective and that same detective called me using this number a few minutes ago. This is DEFINITELY Kent Police.

I keep getting calls from this number:- +441616673230. Typically, they ring off before I can answer. I ve tried ringing back and a recorded message tells me "not to worry" and that they will call me again later. There are three Google pages about this number and no-one knows any more than I do!
