When I answered, the woman said "was I Mr ***?" I said not. Then she asked if I were the home owner. I said it sounded like a cold call and she shouldn t be ringing me as I was registered with the TPS. Whereupon she rang off abruptly, without apology or any other kind of civility.

SCAM / SPAM 02081585440 Lady introduced herself as working for NHS Track and Trace. She seemed to be Phishing for personal information. She said that my child had recently tested positive for Covid19 which is untrue as at no point has my child been tested or has had any symptoms. When looking on the official NHS Track and Trace website the number which showed up on my caller ID didn't match the number available online.
This is becoming a persistent caller three times in three days. I believe the number is connected to some pension review business. A variation on the number I have just received is +00 00441619747431. I am not going to call the number back and will block it

Had an unsolictored call from this company a few days ago. Asking about a car accident, I asked the woman for her company name. She said "Richmond Knight Legal". She said she is looking into an accident that I was involved in, and that there is about £4000 set aside for me as I was the victim. Please log all such calls with the Claims Management Regulator on 0333 200 110, as they are building up cases against such harrasment companies. Introduced himself as John Shepherd and working for a children's charity, the name of which I did not catch. He checked with me that he had run the right number by checking my company name. Spoke really slowly so I new this was going to be a long call probably looking for money so said I was busy (which I was). Have seen him reported as a scammer on other number check sites.
