Got a call from this number but signal dropped out. Any idea as to who it is?

this Indian woman rang me and for over three minutes told me that she was ringing to prevent any nuisance calls to my number in the future. I told her she was being a nuisance.... and she kept telling me that she was from the anti nuisance call line of the UK... that was the extent of the conversation. Felt like it was a Bart Simpson style prank call.

I do not know who they are. All I know is that it is from the centre of Chichester. They do not even leave a text so that I would at least know who is attempting to get hold of me!!! It may be quite innocent, but until I know who is calling as unknown, it is a nuisance. Why should we have to put up with this rubbish, the caller would not like it if this happened to them. I will not call them back incase it is a scam.

Recorded voice saying that that had been unusual activity on my national insurance number?? and that they would be suspending this unless i pressed 1 to reply - scam.

Untrustworthy scale - 10! Computer scam! Have been called at least five times in as many days. Different person each time (one time a woman, the rest were men). Some VERY aggressive. Have told them in no uncertain terms (!) that I know it is a scam and that they are NOT calling from Microsoft and requested they never call my number again. 3 calls yesterday and 2 so far today. Asian men, today he said he was phoning me from Future Trends and would only ask me 2 questions. asked if I was Mr ----- I said yes then asked me if the address he gave was mine, I said yes and he went on to ask me further questions. I told him he had already had his 2 questions and was not amused. I had told them yesterday to remove my number but clearly they have not. I am with TPS but this does no good. Who can we complain to? Received call on my mobile, I don t know anyone in Manchester. Put it on silent and allowed it to go to missed call then checked this site. Will continue to do so if they call again. No intention of dignifying these timewasters with a response.
