Computer error scam received twice last week nConfusing as it comes up as a local number but i told them they were scammers
SCAM Pretending to be Amzon saying that an order has been placed on my account with a couple of phone options. I just hung up but I assume if you choose the options you will either be charged for something or go through to someone who will try and get your account details. Checked my amazon (on a different device) no orders placed - so this is defiantly a scam. I've been getting a lot of random calls recently so assume my number managed to make it onto a dodgy list somewhere.

I read in the press that the STAR 9500 smartphone has been found to have a factory installed trojan virus. So I disabled my STAR 9500 and moved the sim card to an old phone. A few days later the old phone reported a missed call and a text message. The message was just this number. I didn t call it back.

They usually mutter the company name although heard "family" mentioned. Have asked each time for my number to be removed from call list. I've been receiving repeated calls from numbers in the range +44 1892 502868-887 for around 10 days now, several times a day. Often the calls stops ringing after just one ring. No voicemails have been left. When I try to call back I get a recorded message saying 'this person's phone is currently available, please try later'. I cannot find the owner of any of these numbers online.
