A robotic voice called me and said that I returned a parcel without consent and that they would have to take legal action. I haven’t bought/ received a parcel. It’s said push 1 to talk to a representative, I just ended the call. Probably scam and as part of a call centre

024 7630 5294 - This number belongs to furinncattery.co.uk but it has been "hijacked" by some cons pretending they are from Vodaphone. Hysterically, when I said I am not with Vodaphone, the person on the other end asked which company I was with and tried to engage in conversation with me! Heavy Asian accent. I just ended the call and haveblocked the number (as I am not expecting a call from the cattery either!)

Scam call concerning a PayPal account being charges etc. They have taken false telephone numbers to a new level by using a local code but leaving one digit off the number.

SCAM Fraud Claimed to be HSBC fraud to check a couple of suspicious transactions and knew the area I was located in. They didn't ask for any secure information but when I called HSBC directly, they had no record of either the call or the transactions on my account.

Called me up (I was selling a motorbike on aurtotrader), said he was keen on the bike (only having seen the ad). Then asked for my bank details to pay me a deposit. At the time I thought that was ok, but on reflection why would he give a deposit on a bike he hadn't seen? Also wanted to do it in a hurry, so something not quite right. Not saying a scam, could be innocent but felt a bit weird.
Left message that they would call back but if I wanted to get in touch to call this number. Didnt say who they were. Strange call.

Scam - Caller said that they were from Microsoft and, over the last four days, they have received notification that hackers etc had got access to my computer. If I turned on my computer they would be able to clear them from it. When I said it was a scam, I was told that if I did not let them remove the hackers, Microsoft would have to stop any computer from being able to work from my address in the future.
Said they were from BT and were going to cancel Broadband, installed anywhere desktop access software and installed Trojan Gen 5 to gain access to a bank account. Thankfully the bank saw it as a large amount and blocked the transaction

I lost a total of $135,000 to them and they denied all my withdrawal request, and gave me all sort of excuses requesting i pay more funds in order to have funds withdrawn. SPAM this and 11 other land line numbers from this area have called my mobile over the last 2 months. Many have called multiple times, I've lost count. Fed up with them. Previous callers have been from so called Double glazing, green energy and investment companies. The last few were from FX MORGAN CAPITAL who also call from a plethora of mobile numbers- too many to list. The FCA and my bank, after an investigation with fraud squad, have said its a scam company. Worrying as he knew my surname. Said he was calling about my life insurance policy. I don't have a life insurance policy!
Number came up as spam on my mobile phone so I didn't actually answer any of the 3 calls I have had so far today and this is the first time I have been called by it. Indications on other sites are that this is Opus credit (aka New Day) and it makes sense since I have an account with them and I missed a payment with them yesterday.
