Called today 31 August 22 with an automated message pretending to be from my bank. Saying there were suspicious transactions on my credit card. Press 2 to speak to security. "Security" guy was abrupt and rude demanding personal details. When I queried why he needed these details (if genuine call he should know) he simply hung up
The man with a distinctly foreign accent said that he was from a Broadband provider that uses the 4G network £25 a month for 18 months. But what put me off was as soon as he had finished his schpeel he asked without prompt for my bank details. I said I would get back to him next week when I had done some research into the company.

An automated vioce usually, claiming various things, in this instance, claiming to be an automated message from my 'bank' regarding a suspicious £300 Amazon charge, it then asks you to press a button option to respond.
