Computer (sounded very realistic) saying it had heard I was involved in an accident. Hung up when I said I was not.

I do not know who they are. All I know is that it is from the centre of Chichester. They do not even leave a text so that I would at least know who is attempting to get hold of me!!! It may be quite innocent, but until I know who is calling as unknown, it is a nuisance. Why should we have to put up with this rubbish, the caller would not like it if this happened to them. I will not call them back incase it is a scam.

Answerd phone and met with silence, then after about 10 seconds or so call was disconnected.

Lady knew my last name and claimed to be from a reputable building society - Nationwide. However, she persisted in asking my first name so after she kept pushing, I told her Mrs . She read it out loud but then realised it wasn t what she wanted and so pushed further n asked my full name. I told her just my first - no middle names, then she said Thank you Mam and hung up!

Got call from this number ?01243 054768? then says number not recognised...

Called knew all my details and just asked questions about what paper I read. Brand of car. Internet gas and electric suppliers ect asking if I was interested in call backs to save money ect

This number rang me even though i am ex directory no msg left on answer phone i've elderly parents sick of people ringing if i need something i would get in touch

Getting a lot of calls from Scottish numbers that put the phone down after 2 seconds

Checked number elsewhere as no comments here. Some say British gas (number on their website) re smart meters, some say call disconnected if you ask questions, some say messages received like from aliens...? I don t know but would like to bar these calls. Going for 5 as not sure what it really is!

Missed call - voicemail was left by an automated voice with no company details given at all, just a rather threatening voicemail advising beginnings of Lawsuit!!

Silent call

this call comes from the all inclusive club trying to sell cheap holidays at all inclusive hotels. Once you have bought into the scheme they bombard you with calls trying to get more money out of you. its impossible to ring back on the number to tell them to stop ringing as well, as you get the "line discontinued" tone. Comes from a call centre abroad i think. I ve had numerous calls over the last few days and each time i answered they just hung up on me, so not answering them anymore.
