Asian woman said her name was Carol (as if) told me I lived at a house I moved from in 2015. Asked who I had life insurance with and started arguing with me when I told her that's none of her business. She kept repeating aviva, bupa, sunlife is your life insurance with those. TAXES / HMRC . The mesage said that tehre is a letter that has been returned back to HMRC and that there will be legal actions against me. Then to press 1 to speak to operator. Nothing happened, when trying to call back there is a busy tone.

Appears to be a scam. Supposed to have paid £216 in March 2021 for 2 years cover on electrical items further 3 years to pay for now. Supposed to have signed a contract but when I asked for a copy of supposed contract to be forwarded caller hung up!!!

SCAM. My girlfriend got a call saying they were HMRC, and that she will be arrested and they asked for her personal details.

OBVIOUSLY A SCAM - BLOCK BLOCK BLOCK. - Recorded American voice "This is from a securoty department. YOu have attemptrd to make two transfers on your visa card..." When asked why they were calling me to Asian immediately ended the call.
I called the number back and it is Santander - their new HQ is based there - but only a recorded message plays without giving any further details.
