I don't know the full details of the calls, but 01270 311034 has been harassing my father today, calling back every few minutes despite him repeated telling them "no". Seems like the behaviour of scammers to me.

I think it is from a call centre and possibly one of the many cold calling numbers please be weary if this number comes up on your phone.

This is a market research company. This is how market research is done. In the call I took, the company were canvassing opinion for the HSE, this is important work. If you ignore their call they will presume that you are not available and call back again. If you don't want to take the call, just tell the caller that you are not interested in taking part in the survey. They won't call you back. Rang and asked for someone whose name I didn't know. When I said they weren't at the number they dialled they called back twice more, first time said "i just wanted to explain" before i hung up. The second time I just said "are you kidding me?" and terminated the call.

Called our house phone asking to speak to a Mr ****, my partner answered and said sorry no one lives here with that name, they got really angry with him and hung up. Have had a number of calls previously but when answered there is no one there, just lots of background noise. Do not trust this number.
