I had a call from this number saying it was my bank security, usual pre-recorded message about card being used for purchases on Amazon. When I called the number back it just says Oops you might like to check that number and try again. Pretty sure its a scam number
Indian guy offering me a ?10,000 loan over 5 years at no charges and no interest, when he asked what for I said I would buy a new car, started swearing in indian and hung up on me!!

Scammers trying to sell telephone preference services to stop nuisance calls.. They have some of my debit card data and attempted to confirm security numbers on back for security reasons. When I asked them to provide a number I could call them back on, they were unable to provide one. Do not give any information to these people. This is a known scam.

I too received a call at a funeral at 1020 this morning about so-called PPI, when asked how they got a ex directory number, they were reluctant to answer their source. I informed them a complaint will be submitted for their harrassment, I have also sent a letter to the BBC Panorama. programme who are investigating companies under various names. The person that called was an electronic message advising that an Amazon PRIME payment would be taken and asked me to connect with them to discuss. This I did not do and just hung up as I am NOT an Amazon prime member. I then placed this on my caller bared list using 1572. I rang the the numer and BT advised that the number was not recognised after I had entered 012551470. This phone number MUST be a phising type number.
