Strong lndian accent and claimed he was from Citezens advice. I told him l was on the telephone preference service and he would be reported. He then started to argue aggressively with me and l ended the call. Awful man and obviously a scam.

I called the telecoms company who own this number range. They only provide inbound calling services, and this number isn t in use with any of their customers. It means that the caller ID is being spoofed which is completely out of their control - the nuisance calls we are getting are really from a different number that is masking as 02070609965. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 19269121xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with Road traffic accident / Accident claim experts / Harringtons with PPI. Just block it if not interested. People did they call you with the same or something new...?

This number, 01223660041, rang my mobile and I declined the call. Then I immediately received a missed call text from a different number, 01515249700. I called both back yo see who had called and both had the same identical message, sounding like "thanks for calling fresh contacts. Please wait for next agent" at which point I terminated my call.
Got 6 texts in the space of 10 minutes from this number, "your uber code is...". Thankfully I have caller/text id. Her name is Tracey. I texted back saying, "stop texting me tracey" and received the reply "SMS from Uber is now disabled. To re-enable, reply START."
These calls always come in twos. you ignore one and a few seconds later you get another.
