They rang our landline and asked to speak to the BT broadband account holder. I said I was the broadband user and then they put the phone down on me. So I have blocked the number.

I received a call saying I had won a photoshoot worth ?250 for myself and a friend. I never enter these sort of competitions so was suspicious. The lady tried to get me to make a booking but said I could change it at a later date if needed. I refused to commit and said I needed more time. Similar experience to Tuglet ... Caller claimed OH had been getting lots of nuisance calls, I said no, he never picks up the phone unless he knows the number and if our phone does not block them automatically, then I did and put the phone down. Now polite I know but expected the hard sell.

These people are a total nuisance. They are aggressive when they do speak and very rude. This number should be reported to Ofcom and Trading Standards. The more complaints made to the correct authorities the more chance these people will be dealt with.
