SCAM - scam baiters who bought Sky number ranges and are cold calling victims trying to claim to be the ISP. Tosser kept calling me "bro". I first asked him to confirm my IP address (dynamically allocated) and he gave me something he made up - that didn't have all 4 sets of numbers. Sky have been asked about this and aware of these scammers.

Got a call from this number +442476755510 number advising that they were from Atrac Solutions (or this is what it sounded like). Asking to confirm my address details which I refused to confirm yet the caller was very pushy and continued in his persuit for this information. I asked what was the busines reason for the call but he failed to divulge this information. I kindly advised that I wouln t be answering any information until he at least told me why he was calling. After completing my reference checks Rentshield think it is OK to persistently phone me, trying to sell me insurance and making it sound as though it is a condition of my contract that I have to buy it.
Automated call allegedly from the NCA claiming my NI number was used for illegal activity and it is now suspended. The message then asks to press 1 to speak to a case officer to prevent my assets being seized, etc.
This company rings repeatedly, with recorded message. When you get through to an advisor, they word their pitch carefully to give the impression that they work for a government department. They refuse to give their address and the phone they give does not ring. Obviously bunch of con men.
