it is from Russia, saying that I had been fraudulently using my national insurance number, it is the international crim unit, and if I don't press one to speak to an operator my NI number will be suspended and I will be arrested. I didn't press one, I just hung up. Hope the KGB don't turn up on my doorstep!

Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. Robin called. Sounded foreign. Said he was calling from the call blocking and scam department. When I asked what company he was calling from he said "the national call blocking company limited" i said there was no such thing. Curious how this was 24 hours after "microsoft" called me and I told them I didn't believe them..... Told him the only legit call blocking was The Telephone Preference Service, and he hung up.
