SCAM: Fifth identical call today, once an hour, from different phone numbers (probably all spoofed) Automated female voice, claiming to be from BT Internet Dept, who have supposedly been trying to call me urgently, because of ‘suspicious activity’ on my account. Said it was British Telecom , my internet had been compromised and would be turned off. Usual press 1 etc. Since when did BT use mobile numbers for the sort of thing?
No idea who this belongs to and I have no desire to find out...it doesn`t matter who it belongs to...I have not answered my landline phone for several years now as ALL the calls are from salespeople/scammers/fraudsters...the ONLY reason I have a landline now is due to having broadband although I don`t see why this is still necessary with today s technology...it is high time this nonsense was brought to an end.

I had a call from this number and was instantly suspicious. I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. Like most people, I am suspicious of individuals whose language skills are a lot less than mine and have a heavy accent. However, I would ask if these guys are from the collection department before going into a personal/private details. I have sort
