Caller asked for someone else who lives in the house by name - after teh ususal telemarketing pause of silence..... When I explained they were not in and asked if I could take a message, the caller sounded annoyed that the person he called for was not in, and then HE HUNG UP. . Cold caller? Telemarketer? Rude - yes!
I've had two calls from this number, saying its inland revenue and not to hang up or they will take further action, I stayed on line for ages then automated service said go...
I have been contacted by this number every day (some time twice a day)for the past week. each time it has been for the same contract opportunity each time I tell them NO! Their English is very very bad I can hardly understand them. They are all from India. Research show me if you contract through them they don t pay up. IT Contractors Avoid this company.

SCAM. Automated voice message with a female voice used. Reported to be from Inland Revenue and Customs, and claimed that it was vital that I (or my solicitor) phoned the number back. Threatened drastic legal action if I didn't comply. Hung up immediately after.
Do not answer any phone calls where number not recognised. Rang today but left no message.

claimed to be from my internet provider-asked me to confirm router was working ok as had received large volume of calls. When I advised I was not at home(despite the fact they had called my landline) heard whispered conversation with a workmate/supervisor,asked to perform the same check on router again I repeated that I was not at home. Simple rule, if the number isn t genuine, neither is the call.
Pretending to be lawyers who say I have a case of tax fraud against me. This was a very entertaining phone call as the man on the other line who went under the name of "Michael Jordan", not the basketball player, told me I must give him money or else I would be arrested in 30 minutes!! Thank you Mr. Jordan for giving me and my flatmate 40 minutes of laughs this morning.

Been getting calls and messages day, night and bank holidays from two numbers and not sure why. I do not answer, but when they leave a message they do not explain who they actually are, nor what it is about. The other number is 01482 618100, which I assume is related to 01482 483281. Don t fall into their traps...
press "9" to opt out. yet their calls just keep coming. they ve got everything: PPI claims, debts management, free gifts, etc... best thing you can do: ignore their calls and report them to ofcom

Answered the call. Noone spoke. Just a lot of background office noise for about a minute and then the call ended.
Received an automated call from this number purporting to represent my credit card (no name mentioned, no bank name mentioned) saying that it had been used twice, once on Amazon, and for a foreign currency transaction. Press 1 for security, 2 for customer services. SUSPECT FRAUD!!
