BEWARE........ Pretending to be Sky technical, stating fault and slow speed with broadband service, wanted to talk and get access to computer. Tell them to do one save your time and peace of mind.

PPI nonsense

Received a call this morning.I never answer calls coming from any 0843 numbers.Think about it folks!! Calls from numbers with an 0843 prefix are only used by companies, and are chargeable,sometimes at very expensive rates. Mail order, catalogue companies and utility companies etc etc and SCAM ARTISTS the list is endless. All Use 0843 prefix. Ask yourselves,Why would these people be ringing you if it is not to get money out of you one way or another,if you ring them back they have achieved their aim and you

scammers, claimed they knew I was in an accident but I haven't been in one. Played along and they agreed with me that they had the same accident details that I was making up. Terminated call so no idea where it was leading. Believe this is connected to phone numbers 020 3000 7916 and 0161 814 3982 who are identical scammers

Recorded message supposedly from HMRC threatning legal action,and asking to call back the number. Clearly a scam

I did not know I was being charged extra, I don’t even know why I started to receive text from this 88222 number. My monthly phone bill is normally £45 per month unlimited talk and text and 4gb data. Last month my bill was slightly higher, this month my bill went to £89 pounds all because I was receiving messages from the number 88222. I had to send STOP to prevent further higher bills.

Upon being told we are ex-directory and TPS and don't own a computer the "gentleman" kept asking who I was, then after me pointing out he should already know this he kept repeatedly yelling at me to "shut my face"

Went to answer the phone and it ended the call and when I went to ring it back it told me that this number is not in service. What's a waste of time!

SCAM - Indian accent, claimed to be calling from Aveva car insurance. I don't own a car.
