I am local to Wrexham and have recently had 4 local numbers that have called me whose numbers I don t recognize so have left the calls go to answer phone but shortly after my answer phone message starts, they hang up. They are probably all from the same organization all calling from different numbers. Fraud - I got a call from this number saying that a money from my account was sent overseas, ask me to press 1 to speak to them otherwise my card will be lock. Logically I hang up. I called back to that number- it comes as unrecognise. My bank will never call me for that!!!

They use an area call router to pretend that they re local to you which will hopefully persuade you to answer and then you ll ave an automated message asking you to contact them or an agent (scumbag) trying to coerce your details from you in a (poor) attempt to scam you.
