SCAM Called by 01323734918 today saying they are EE and if I give my details he can set me up a new account with 45% discount. Blatant scam and indian call centre.
The man with a distinctly foreign accent said that he was from a Broadband provider that uses the 4G network £25 a month for 18 months. But what put me off was as soon as he had finished his schpeel he asked without prompt for my bank details. I said I would get back to him next week when I had done some research into the company.
These are a scam outfit, call centre telling me that someone had ordered an iPhone 13 pro with my Amazon account, that my details had been leaked and they would put me through to Amazon to verify details, I haven’t even got an Amazon account. Beware this is a total scam!!!!

I believe this to be a banking scam as the automated called said they were from Bank Security - but no bank name given. They told me that a charge for £700 had been made by Amazon (I no longer have an account there) and an international charge of £2,000. I was asked to press a number to speak to security!!!

Very Annoying Marketing Call - Did we want this magazine, this one, that one endless, kept saying no.
I received a call which disconnected when I answered. I dialled back, there was an unusual ringtone before it disconnected. Appears to be some kind of spam.
I got an email from PayPal, saying I purchased a cell phone & that payment is now due. I called the number on the invoice from PayPal, a man with a thick indian accent answered & struggled to speak good English to explain himself. He asked me for the invoice number & said that a purchase was made IN MY NAME although my opening remarks were 'I don't have a PayPal account but I received an email requesting payment for a purchase' - when I asked him 'what's my name?' he hung up! This number keeps messaging me claiming to be Domino's pizza offering special deals of the day. The problem is it claims to be in Llanelli and I live in Birmingham.
Recorded voice claiming to be Amazon and saying I'd been charged £95 for Prime, and to dial '1' if I didn't agree. A quick check with the Amazon website confirmed this to be BS. We wonder where dialling '1' would go and at what cost?
