I received an automated call about some money taken from my card. If I wanted to learn more press 1 they requested. The call was from Nakhichevan Russian Federation - I never had any connection with this part of world. Must be a fraud?!
SCAM Told me they were from Virgin media and that they had notifications on their system of bad Internet connectivity asked how many devices I had and then wanted me to go on a PC or laptop to authorise them onto said computer so they could show me what was wrong ????? Not once was I asked for my account details or if I was the account holder

Scam from asian sounding male suposedly working for Virgin Media and claiming that my router was faulty. After getting me to jump through some hoops, told me that I would be getting a new router and £204.56 in compensation. That when I realised it was a scam and they needed my account details which they did not get.
Called, its a recorded message from a company saying its a no obligation something something call then it hung up? I suspect they are looking for people to call back on a premium rate or something weird?

Received a text saying my parcel has been dropped of at the collection centre. I have not bought any items, and I'm not expecting any parcels from friends or acquaintants.

Claiming we had an outstanding insurance policy for drains etc which we do not, also quoted a password which has occurred on other scam calls so looks like same lot trying it on to unwary types.
Calls from 0115-677-5963 are a Scam! If ever you don't recognise the number, DON'T SPEAK & JUST LISTEN! If you don't hear anyone and after a short pause the line goes dead, then congratulations you've just successfully escaped being scammed! This is because it was a computer calling trying to establish if your number was in use and if a voiceline. If you'd spoken, your number would be logged as a voiceline and some clever con-artist would then be phoning you later.

Had a call from this number on my landline at 5:30pm on Wednesday 26th July. Heard two voices on the line when I answered - one a lady who identified herself by name & said she was a local energy adviser (although this phone number is not local to me) but did not give a company name, the other a gentleman talking in a foreign language. Cold call claiming to be about my Life insurance from "MEH", they had my name but no details as to who my provider(s) were. Talking about issue of not being covered due to non-disclosure for older policies. Claimed not to be sales, but during the call I did hear in the background applause and cheers (which indicates someone did make a sale in the same room).
