We got a call from this number alleging that it was about National Insurance. Think it might be dodgy.

This number left a message to call back John (no company name). When i returned the call he tried to sell me a pension. I questioned his methods and he put the phone down on me. Any company that operates in such a way is not worth dealing with.
SCAM I was called from a lady called Lisa. She sounded Indian. Anyway I am lucky because I have been allocated a free discount card. Free, up to 40% off shopping, Tesco etc. Also they will send me free flight tickets for me and my family, anywhere in Europe. Didn't want my bank account no. just my sort code and account number. So they could credit me £1. I put the phone down. I wonder if I will get my free discount card in the post as promised.
Had a call asking for bank details to continue my Amazon Prime membership during a trial. The call said it would take £80 (ish) in a couple of days unless bank details given. Went on to Amazon to find the trial finishes in 20 days... Be safe people!

Text received from this number stating suspicious activity on my Paypal account and that they had suspended my account to prevent any fraudulent activity and to follow a link to lift the block. Clearly an attempt to get access to the Paypal account as i dont use it.

Second call received from this number. The first time they hung up as soon as I answered. The second time, I answered it, the bloke said that they were from "Consumer Helpline ", and "ringing about any finance [I d] taken out in the past ten years and any miss-sold PPI ", as soon as he heard me say that it was an "unsolicited call", and that "I m ex directory", the bloke hung up! Got a call from someone saying he was from accident and something but someone laughed then another person laughed then the caller hung up.
I had a call from 0161 524 5263 but the caller rang off before I could get to my phone. Within seconds the phone rang again, this time showing 020 4538 7049. I thought it all must be some sort of scam so didn't answer and no messages were left.
