I answered but didn t speak so they hung up - proves it s an automated call centre. Now I ve blocked their number

DO NOT ANSWER - Scam call from an Asian call centre, openly admitting to charging a premium rate for connecting your call. They begin the conversation stating they are a government scheme aimed at helping pay back loans etc. I received racial abuse from the caller while trying to get information out of him. Have checked all phone records to see if any charges have come through but none as yet, but am unaware if the included minutes have covered this somehow. BLOCK & REPORT.

Several calls a month received and up to 3 times a day showing this number. The caller ID is fake. It is not a local number to me as shown but the calls originate from a company...

Called about a road traffic accident, keen to represent me. Calls twice a week. Setup the phone to identify and reject this call.

I was called from this number by a man with an African accent. I asked to be removed from their database. Caller became aggressive and offensive and used obscene language. This number should be reported to authorities for legal action.

Rang today and listed a stream of debts I DON T have. Hung up on me when I pointed out I have no debts. Thick Indian accent, didn t ask any security questions and also failed to tell me the name of the company twice - he got confused both times so god knows where he was meant to be calling from. These are debt collection agents they work for HMRC and are relentless threatening and pushy.

Some idiots calling me - surely companies should be banned from this ridiculous practice. No point telling them to remove my name from your records , they don t hold records! They just buy a load of phone numbers and go through them til some mug gives them money.
