This idiot tried to con me out of some stupid amount for Amazon prime, something I have never had. Unfortunately my husband answered the phone and is more kind to the conners than me. As far as I am concerned all phone callers are potential con artist so I very rarely answer my phone these days. Perhaps if they worked in a decent job for a living they might not be as disgusting, but what do i know.

According to UoB website this number shouldn't be calling for student fundraising so this is likely a scam. "Our Student Fundraisers will call you from 0121 678 1000, but please note that this number is outgoing only. Silent call Some heavy breathing, lol!! Apparently from “Leeds Tank”????!! Said: “the office is now(14.30pm) closed, please ring again between 9am and 5pm”. Putting this in the “rude comedy scam” label. It CANNOT SURELY be a genuine bona fide call. I suspect the “Closed at UK time 14.30” aspect makes it a foreign caller, disguised: SUSPICIOUS!!

SCAM - they pretened to be from Carphone Warehouse, but it's not genuine - the email they sent is similar, but misspelled on purpose. Dont give them any of your details!
SCAM. This number came through as a text and purports to be a dhl non-delivery notice with a link. The link takes you to a ‘google prize lottery’ which I didn’t bother to take further, but it’s obviously nothing to do with DHL. Have marked it as annoying and have blocked the number.

I read in the press that the STAR 9500 smartphone has been found to have a factory installed trojan virus. So I disabled my STAR 9500 and moved the sim card to an old phone. A few days later the old phone reported a missed call and a text message. The message was just this number. I didn t call it back.

SCAM Pretending to be Amzon saying that an order has been placed on my account with a couple of phone options. I just hung up but I assume if you choose the options you will either be charged for something or go through to someone who will try and get your account details. Checked my amazon (on a different device) no orders placed - so this is defiantly a scam. I've been getting a lot of random calls recently so assume my number managed to make it onto a dodgy list somewhere.
