Automated voice saying from Amazon about renewing Prime membership and asking to press "1" to talk to a manager. Believe this is a fake

SCAM Thiks was a recorded meesage claiming to be from a 'bank security' firm, stating there had been two unlawful Amazon purchases from my bank account. I hung up at this point, and checked my bank account. There had been no illegal activity on my account. Beware of this number and messages on it.

Recorded voice told me that my bank account had had attempted withdrawals and, if I wanted to stop them, to press 1 or 2 to speak to an "adviser" . I did neither and hung up and then blocked the number

SCAM I have this afternoon received a telephone call purporting to be National Grid Meter Department and confirming a date and time to change meter as they said it was over charging. Suggested a refund available since last year of £652.23 Offered a booking slot and advised the new meter number as E14UP04L89. SCAM - has to be. This number called me today. I do not answer unrecognised numbers. They left a voice mail, foreign voice, couldn't really pick up on everything said, voice was quite deep. They did say I needed to make a payment and to answer emails. Up until this mornings call I had had no emails asking for payment - not that I would answer them anyway. email in my Inbox purporting to be from Bulb (My Energy Company) - I have a DD with them they would not act in this way = DELETED !

other numbers call from same adress making spam advertising for bitcoin "investment" - there is no more safety in crypto "investment" so beware all such callers and solicitors - it is usually schemes, spam, fraud and dunping worthless stuff on you. Calls from this adress has been reported for half a decade now ( 2018+)

Jason Phillips called me from this number and then sent 2 email copy letters with Financial Ombudsman Service at top right of the letters, stating a big refund for my solar PV. He asked for covering payment upfront saying it is needed to cover costs of UK Law Associates before a refund could be arranged. I had no positive proof of who he was/is and declined the payment. I am perusing this through the ombudsman who is handling the case of mis-sold pv for me.
